the challenge
Everything Wingman did well happened at a desk. Call review, Game Tapes, coaching, the manager scanning a deal at risk, all of it lived on a laptop. But reps live between meetings, on their phones, and that is exactly when a missed signal or an unsent follow-up costs a deal. Wingman had no presence there, and the market had never seen the product on mobile. The job was to put the same actionable-intelligence promise into an app and launch it cold, against incumbents many times the size.
highlights
- 01Led the Product Hunt launch of the Wingman Mobile App on January 18, 2022, under the tagline “Your revenue accelerator, now on mobile,” the listing, the assets, and the launch-day push.
- 02Built the store presence: the Play Store listing, the launch video, download QR codes, and deep links.
- 03Carried the site’s positioning into the app, so “actionable,” “revenue,” and “deals at risk” read the same on a phone as on the homepage.
- 04Ran Wingman’s Product Hunt motion more than once, launching Actions by Wingman, real-time sales alerts in Slack, that September.
- 05Coordinated the launch collateral and the install push across the team and early customers.
the impact
The launch and the go-to-market are the piece owned cleanly. The app itself, the engineering and the product, belong to the team that built it.

Same story
the app launched as “your revenue accelerator, now on mobile,” the exact positioning the website work had established, so a rep met one promise whether on desktop or mobile.
why it worked
One narrative, every screen — the app inherited the site’s canvas language, so the mobile launch reinforced the same promise instead of introducing a new one.
Launch as a system, not a day — the store listing, video, QR, deep links, and Product Hunt push were built as one kit, so launch day had everything it needed to turn attention into installs.
Owned the launch and the go-to-market: Product Hunt, the store listing, the collateral, and the in-app positioning. The app was built by Wingman’s product and engineering teams; the install and rank figures are self-reported and labeled as such.
